Training Team

You do not get to be one of our instructors by training for a weekend or two, or by simply having an instructor's license. Before they work with students on their own, our instructors put in hundreds of hours as students themselves, with experienced instructors as their mentors. Furthermore, a commitment to continuous improvement of their own skills, knowledge and training techniques is a basic requirement for all our instructors. We take pride in always trying to improve our riding skills. All of our instructors have experience on the racetrack, from 50cc mini to professional motorcycle road racing. We also have off-road experience, which is one of the best ways to broaden your skills.

Chief Instructor - Trevor "Sandman" Dech

Trevor took to riding motorcycles before he even graduated first grade and has been teaching people how to ride since 1991. Trevor is a pro road racer at the CMRA, having won both the superbike and heavyweight championships in 2004. Energy and enthusiasm, along with profound experience and genuine riding talent, make him an exceptional instructor.

Senior Instructor - Jordan "Mr. Plow" Lewis

From the first phone call with Jordan I knew he was not teaching to his full potential with another school. I had invited him to come and watch how we taught. I knew at that moment that his talents would shine at our school. He brings his pure passion of our sport to every class. Jordan with his patience and ability to help coach students make him an exceptional instructor and a great friend.

Senior Instructor - Rene "Nature Boy" Despins

One of the greatest compliments as Chief instructor is to have a former student of over ten years ago come back and want to teach. When Rene called me to join our team I did not remember him, but as soon as I saw him arrive at Tim Horton's I knew, we as a school have found yet another outstanding instructor. From the motorcycle pictures on his walls and the multitudes of copies of motorcycle magazines on his living room table. Rene bleeds the same riding blood as we all do.

Instructor - Terrence "Snowman" Robbins

Terrence is very energetic and enthusiastic about our sport, when Terrence is not teaching with us you can find him drag racing his 2008 Suzuki Hayabusa 1340 at Race city Speedway. The man loves his speed but he knows where to take it (To The Track). This year he is going to trade straight and fast for corners. Look out, this boy knows how to lean. Terrance started teaching because of some close calls that were partially to blame for the skills that he had forgotten over the years.

Instructor - Jack "Big Jake" Latta

Jack understands what it is like to be a student. He always finds the right thing to say. His coaching style complements our school perfectly.

Instructor - Christine "Patient Heart" Hartos

Christine is the real back bone of our company. Always trying to make things easy for not only our students but our coaches as well. As a graduate of our Too Cool program, She knows how to prepare you for your course.

Instructor - Knut "Rabbit's Foot" Skarstol

When I first met Knut he had his license but wanted an evaluation to see if he needed to take further instruction. He soon signed up for what would be the disease we call motorcycling. Knut has helped in countless numbers of rides and has help many people believe that if they want to ride they can, no matter what their age. For myself he represents why I am still teaching after so many great years.
